8.0 For the people using apt-get, you can add the component "base" to your sources.list file in /etc/apt and you'll be surprised how many packages are to be updated. Indeed the updated 8.0 is provided by the apt repository as well. Example: rpm ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/ SuSE/8.0-i386 extra update base -- Richard
