I compiled a PHP-4.1.1 package for SuSE 7.3 i386.

You can get it at http://svartur.rhi.hi.is/php.html

There are some instructions there. Be sure you read the warning.

All standard disclaimers apply. I have not messed with the source,
and the source RPM is there as well.
