Re: [SuSE Linux] KDE gimmick won't come off
Ok, we are looking seriously at KDE. Installed it from the rpm's on SuSE web site. Went into YaST and set the KDE gimmick to blank (was originally the chamellia.xpm). But we still get the little chamellia when we open xterms. So, how do we get rid of it? (yes, we think they are cute too, but it doesn't fit our desire corporately to have them on our windows when we demo to customers). - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
I had the same problem and I found that setting the KDE gimmick blank wasn't enough. Check your ~/.kde/share/config/kwmrc and /opt/kde/share/config/kwmrc to see if any gimmick leftovers can be found there. Avi On Sat, Aug 15, 1998 at 01:16:56PM -0400, punt wrote:
