[OT] Use Linux -- and go to jail, in the US of A?
It's really time to change campaign finance laws, isn't it?

And if Senator Blowhard is not qualified to comment on the law he is
sponsoring, WTF is he doing sponsoring it????

Hi: I read the article. Seems that he's busy creating web pages that have simply, "ACCESS DENIED" in bold, 48 pt font for those who attempt to send an email to his office. It's not just normal, "Access Denied", it's really big "ACCESS DENIED" with a clear, although implied , "#$%$ YOU!" across the page. What he needs to do, is spend more time tutoring his office workers to recognize that when someone asks their name, they look at a piece of paper on the desk, and read the appropriate name to the caller. He can have each worker spell out their name in 48pt font, and with BOLD CAPITAL letters [color of their choice]. Just a thought, Tom P.S. It won't take manufacturers three weeks to roll out the "approved, certified, registered" devices. It won't take three weeks for the doors to the Internet to slam shut, only to open if the device seeking access is "approved, certified, registered". ICANN has that under control, now. There's plenty of fodder to chew on, and just take your choice. It's all scary as hell.
When a person's body temp is higher than his/her iq, you must expect these
things. Washington is a veritable depository of such persons.

I have my doubts this will ever happen, since I know that here in the City of Columbus police department, The department of computer crimes runs linux on their computers!!! I don't think these guys are going to comply with such a law either, so im not too worried, but if it ever does happen, they can happily take me to jail because I WILL STILL RUN LINUX!!!!!!!!!!
