Jin the Sparc-suse mailing list....I asked one of the developers that used to work at SuSE and that is what he suggested.....it might also be that you will need a module (driver) loaded for the controller before Linux can see that attached drive array. The setup detects that I have a SCSI cdrom and tape drive, but it does not detect any hard drives. Is there a special option to get this to work, or is this Sun "feature" currently not supported?
