RE: [SLE] Newbie: Modem not working
Can you describe what you've done so far? Where are you
running into problems? What error message(s) do you see?
We need a little more info to go on...:)

Hello,
I am new to Unix/Linux but wanted to try using it after using Redhat
atcollege.
I brought SuSE after recommendations from my Tutor who said the college
only has Redhat because he arrived afte it had been purchased, also
Linux Format seemed to indicate that SuSE was very good. I have
installed SuSE now along side Win2K and like it alot, but it (SusSE) doesn't
pickup my modem. I had the same problem with NT (one of the reasons why
I moved to 2K). It is a PCI modem, but definetly NOT a WinModem, my
brother made sure of this when he brought it..
Can someone help me! I don't know how to get it configured, I looked
through the reference manual that comes with SuSE but I'm really
confused.
