it's all prepared for you. all you need to do is vi /etc/rc.config change "START_MYSQL" to 'yes' :wq run SuSEconfig reboot
From: Albert Wagner
To: suse_users Most recently from Slackware, I am unfamiliar with Suse boot sequence. I have placed mysql start/stop script in /etc/init.d and linked it to K14mysql and S20mysql in rc3.d. But it still doesn't start at bootup. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.
