[opensuse] Fonts unreadable in windows apps running on wine
In openSuSE 11.1, 32 bits, the fonts are unreadable in windows apps running on wine, thus making unusable the app. I have installed the same app on a 64 bits PC, the same OS, and this problem does not exist. Could you advise how to solve this issue ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Ciao, Marcus
It could be an old setting. I have kept the entire home partition intact from the previous installation (openSUSE 10.3) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I have this problem if I use the graphic driver from nvidia. My graphic card is a Geforce4MX. If I switch to the opensource driver I don't have this issue. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

It was mentioned on nvidia forums issue with legacy drivers. http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=122178 I spotted it once in 173.x.x series (FX 5200). It is fine with enabled antialiasing, but as mentioned in thread Wine is not using antialiasing. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
