In konq settings i added a plugin folder that contained a plugin i downloaded for Firebird. Konq locked up when i attempted to view an html page so i removed the plugin folder from settings. I found nothing in /var/log/messages. This is what i find at the top of top. It stays there even after konq is closed. 4539 work 25 0 2064 40 20 R 49.7 0.0 600:46.75 nspluginviewer 5890 work 25 0 12744 12m 10m R 49.0 5.0 9:26.32 nspluginviewer Attempting to fix things i copied ~/.kde/share/config/kcmnspluginrc from root which is almost never used to my home space. Then i restarted the computer. Konq still locks up. Note other user's knoq does not lock up with the same url. It is only my user. Here is the kcmnspluginrc file. Yep. It's just complaining. I see this when I exist X. It's never stopped Konq from working so I ignored it. It's much like GTK apps bitching that they can't find qtpixmap which I got rid of because with it installed every GTK theme wanted to resemble Bluecurve. *shrug* Sometimes apps just bitch. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===--- #147972 ---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org -- Why do we bother with a suicide watch when someone is on deathrow?
