I can tell you that Azureus works very well and is full-featured and mature.
Second that. I use Azureus all the time.

Second that. I use Azureus all the time. Ditto, works perfectly; same interface as the Windows version.

I'm using MLDonkey - I like being able to run it as a daemon and connect occasionally from a browser elsewhere in the system. It seems to handle BT as well as a half-dozen other protocols, although I haven't really tested BT specifically yet. Mike- -- Mornings: Evolution in action. Hello, I built rpms for Bittorrent and SuSE. You can try here, depend on your SuSE version: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-gbv/rpms As other people in the list, I would recomend to use azureus. Rpms for SuSE also in same directories. I thinks it's wx-gtk, or py-gtk, or something like that.

I never got BT GTK mode working, but I never really tried very hard. I just use the curses mode - seems to work fine for me, so I didn't see the point of hacking away to get the GUI version working. -- David Smith Work Email: Dave.Smith@st.com STMicroelectronics Home Email: David.Smith@ds-electronics.co.uk Bristol, England GPG Key: 0xF13192F2
I am now using Azureus. It worked fantastic until one day it asked me to update. Now it takes ages to "Initializing Plugin: azjpc" and won't start up. Anyone came across this problem and has solutions? Cheers! Kai

Probably it's waiting for a timeout from your ISPs Joltid PeerCache. Just remove the plugin's directory from the plugin directory (under ~/.Azureus/plugins or /opt/azureus/plugins). Theo -- Theo v.
