Fred, Seeing you haven't got a reply regarding printing to the Z52 from StarOffice I'll see if I can nut something out. I don't have this printer so not sure how it prints a file normally (not under SO). So if you can answer these couple of questions. 1) What printing system are you using for the Z52?. (CUPS, LPD) 2) Can you issue a command from the prompt to print a file in Landscape mode? If so, please give me an example also an example of how you print a file from the command line.. I think there may be a way of fiddling with the printer queue and options in the ~/.Xpdefaults file. Have a look at Item 10 at: http://www.math.umn.edu/mcim/rm314/tootsofficefaq.shtml You may have to set up two different printers under SO, I for Portrait and another one for Landscape.
