I don't recall having device busy. We may have stoppedn and restarted the nfs server on the VALinux server. It's been a few months. kastus wrote:

Could you please tell me how do you unmount cdrom? When I try to it at this point the system complains ``Divice busy''. Andi this is true. When I stop NFS, I can unmount cdrom, then I start NFS again and mount cdrom.
What's the trick that you know?

If you are as silly as me...it is because you try to umount your cd when you are still in the CD's mounted directory ... yup I'm stupid :) For example my CD mounts on /CDROM so I cd /CDROM then try umount /CDROM and get device busy...
