Dear list; I used apt to upgrade fontconfig (2.3.2.20050721..) and freetype2 (2.1.10-2.1) on my SUSE 9.3. It made most of my fonts look ugly! But after degrading back to older versions (ftp.suse.com), and using an old version of fonts.conf from another user on my machine it all went back to normal (PUH). Maybe there is someone who has encountered the same problem.. All the best! Tomas
