plasma6 - Se7en theme
Hi *, I'd like to use the Se7en theme, that is available for plasma6 from the KDE store (https://store.kde.org/p/1407086). I tried to install it via systemsettings. The installation didn't fail, according to systemsettings the theme is installed, but it is not available - and it can't be found on disk in ./.local/share/plasma/desktoptheme. Any idea, what might be wrong here? System is openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240314 with plasma6 and X11. TIA. Bye. Michael.

claudemods •14 hours ago youve created a plasma 6 version that doesnt work the theme doesnt show in global themes or install when clicking install atleast this is the case on kde neons latest update with updated packages consider testing before releasing in the future
So it is simply broken currently. You will have to wait and try a new updated build.

I'm not a KDE use, but I don't think so. Something is wrong with the systemsettings program. It makes it look like it supports Plasma6, but in fact it supports Plasma5. In other words, when I tried to set up a sddm-qt6 theme, it displayed a theme for Plasma5, which is no longer available. Isn't there a way to do this without using systemsettings? Something is wrong with the systemsettings program.
It makes it look like it supports Plasma6, but in fact it supports Plasma5. In other words, when I tried to set up a sddm-qt6 theme, it displayed a theme for Plasma5, which is no longer available.
Isn't there a way to do this without using systemsettings?
One can download the tar archive and unpack it to the correct location. I'll try.

I saw it, but didn't really get it. "Aero" is deprecated for plasma6, so this prbably is the reason, it won't work.
