Apache default page not filling
I thought I was doing well, as I had Apache and PHP installed and everything seamed to be working. I had to reboot the machine, and now the default front page that SUSE creates with the details of the server is not getting filled in. I had sorted out most of the broken links on that page and had them working. What has been switched off, not started, or messed up to stop Apache from doing this? The CGI stuff seems to be working, as the Apache help search is working, but I have not been able to find any answers there. -- Lester Caine ----------------------------- L.S.Caine Electronic Services

On 7.2, they used server-side-includes to output the variables.
I'm guessing they still do in 8.
If that is the case, you need to make sure SSI is enabled in
your httpd.conf. It is dones with the +Includes directive
