Linux High Availability Project and Suse?
Has anyone done a Linux High Availability install under SuSE? The reason I ask is that we are looking at moving our main web server to Linux (away from Microsoft), and it looks pretty good on paper, but I want to see if someone has already done this in real life? http://linux-ha.org/ (is where this is located at) -Bill
I currently use the heart beat functionality from www.linux-ha.org on both Redhat and Suse, and have heard good stuff about the load balancing and clustering technologies. Very shortly I will be setting up a load balanced web server farm using the above technologies. From my initial research, it thankfully doesn't look to challanging and is a damn site cheaper and more flexible than commercial load balancers. Let me know (off list) if you need any help ...
