[opensuse] GIMP 2.10.4 Segmentation Fault on 15.0
Hi ! Anyone knows how to fix this segmentation fault running gimp 2.10.4 on Leap 15.0 ? It happens every time I'm trying to open any file, even very small. Thanks in advance. ------------------------- gimp-2.10.4-lp150.3.1.x86_64 (gimp:3426): GLib-ERROR **: gmem.c:100: failed to allocate 18446743908509634591 bytes (file-jpeg:3472): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: file-jpeg: gimp_wire_read(): error (ufraw-gimp:3468): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: ufraw-gimp: gimp_wire_read(): error (script-fu:3455): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: script-fu: gimp_wire_read(): error Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Try: create new user, copy any photo to its home, switch to it, open gimp to see if it crashes. That will find if it is system wide, or user configuration. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. How is yours 2.10.4?
Good question. Either he is using tumbleweed or some extra repo. Andrei, please run: zypper lr --details > somefile.txt and reply attaching that file (not paste, it wraps the lines). -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Hi, Main 2.10.4 was from graphic repo and WAS compiled for 15.0 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics/openSUSE_Leap_15.0/ I installed 2.10.10 from community repo and now it works. http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/pgnd:/graphics/openSUSE_Leap... Then you should write a bugzilla telling so.
Thanks everyone who was trying to help! Welcome.
