[opensuse] SUSE Studio - When?
What's the time frame on getting SUSE Studio opened up? I would love to be able to build custom install CDs that's don't have a lot of the stuff that the other install media have(like openoffice, mono, beagle, etc). Also, is there going to be support for x86-64 and ppc(really could use ppc more than anything)? From what I have seen, only i386 is supported now. As far as I know, there is no public ETA, sorry, maybe someone else has more information. -- "We have art in order not to die of the truth" - Friedrich Nietzsche Cristian Rodríguez R. Hmmm. It did take me 3 years to get through 2 years of Spanish in High School. Must be why I didn't know that one....... ;-D

This is already possible to do with the Build Service and osc, ask on the buildservice mailing list for details. But Studio has a much nicer interface...

Yeah. Time is another factor. I've got way too much going on. I'm not even sure when the 11.2 testing is gonna start. AND, I have to take my son skiing next weekend(not me tho - gonna go hiking with the Scout Master). That will kill anytime to get anything done that weekend....

Who's in charge of that project? The wiki page didn't give much info. Do they have a mailing list? Thanx -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

The ball keeps rolling as usual, in fact, there are plenty of changes in factory right now. -- "We have art in order not to die of the truth" - Friedrich Nietzsche Cristian Rodríguez R. I find it is trivial to do using KIWI; I now use that for building my virtual environment & cluster nodes, and am quite happy with it.
