Hello eveyone: A friend sent this to me and it just shows how much fun you can have with the English language. Enjoy:
Hello everyone:
I don't know why this negative response was made. I posted this as a refreshing change of pace and as a supplement to the thread on the English language on this very board. If this posting was inappropriate, then too were the earlier posts on exactly the same subject, posts, I might add, that were not marked as 'off topic', which my post was. No one should take offence at this pearls of wisdom or whatever you want to call them. Again, I really don't see why such a simple and cute stab at the English language has generated such a violent reply. If you can't laugh at the peculiarities of the language or at yourself, then you really do have a problem. Cheers, Mike

Possibly because this list, like many other technical lists has a few - NOT EVERYONE - sorry for shouting but had to make it heard, people who are Johnny No mates types who have no life outside of their PC. Most of us are normal people thankfully :-))) -- ============================================== I am only human, please forgive me if I make a mistake it is not deliberate. ============================================== Take care. I certainly DIDN'T mind this post.

what mood were you in? Just curious which one causes the private uprbraid. My guess would be a combination of nice, and irretable at the same time. Nice to keep off the list, and irritable to reply this way in the first place.

I'm sure I'm in a few kill-files or other filters already because I don't like getting shamed into one-track thinking and stick up for myself. And I'm happy they did my that service. I wouldn't have gotten much from their help as I am not willing to kid-glove an ass just to get a little help. I'd rather bang my own head against the wall. OP: Don't worry. There are plenty of us that are willing to help people that think for themselves. B-)
