neither nvidia nor amd video
Mobo = Crosshair-IV-Formula PSU = Thermaltake Smart 600w Is there any reason why I cannot install TW or use the Live dvd with an older 8gb nvidia card that previously had used the the g05 package? I get the boot screen but eventually just a blank screen (think it's a gt640 or similar). With a new 16gb Dual Radeon Rx7600 I don't even get to a boot menu and usb-dvd boot is also impossible. The new card is being returned but I need to know if maybe it's Linux-incompatible so as not to consider another one. TIA

Well, If you are installing at this moment and pulling in the 6.10 kernel, there wasn't a G05 driver for it yet as of earlier this morning. But in answer to your question, no you are fine, TW will install and use a G05 card just fine. I just installed it a couple of weeks ago using a G04 card. (the 6.9 kernel driver are there) I sent an e-mail earlier today to see if there was any estimate on when the NVidia drivers for the 6.10 kernel would be ready. No word back yet. It's just a matter of the patch being created and the .spec updated to pull it in. So I suspect it will be available shortly, I just can't define "shortly" yet :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.

I just read this and have been having a problem loading into "graphical target". I reverted back to 6.9.9-1-default kernel but now have no snapshots available at boot menu.
