Quick question...
Why does SuSE 6.4 sometimes not put the .config file in /usr/src? I have done 3 installs (Pentium optimized kernel), 1 of which did not have the .config file. Nothing was done to these installs. First thing I did was check for the .config.
Second, where can I get it? Is it on the CDs somewhere?
Thanks! CK
Look in /boot. There should be a file there called vmlinuz.config. Copy it to /usr/src/linux/.config and customize away.
