Will SuSE v10 really be released tomorrow?
I see on opensuse's website the list of Project Milestones lists Oct. 6th as "SUSE Linux 10.0 final". Is this on schedule? Also, will this include all the same program titles that I find in the downloadable 9.3 version?
Oh, yes, and will it be downloadable just as 9.3 was? On Wed, 2005-10-05 at 11:32 -0700, MB wrote:

The email I got this morning from Digital River (Novells 1st tier fullfillment outfit) said they were charging my card now and shipping on the 30th. That's SuSE 10, not opensuse. Of course, I've had previous experiences with Digital River - who the hell knows when they'll really ship and if it will be the correct product. Mike- -- Mornings: Evolution in action. My email from DR says my copy has been shipped.

Mine, too. Given my (lack of) luck with mail order outfits lately, I'll believe it when it arrives. Kurt -- Reality is a cop-out for people who can't handle drugs.

Yes, it is. Just wrote the draft announcement. We need to configure some stuff tomorrow and create the bittorrents and then everything can go live.

Yeah, there will be - wait for my announcement on opensuse-announce in a couple of hours. Oh god, another mailing list??? I think I maybe should be asking for a POP account on suse.com :)

Oh god, another mailing list???
Yeah, same here... I haven't subscribed to that. If that mailing list is for announcements, how about making a RSS of it? Novell has the ISO's out, but their mirrors do not. And the ftp.suse.com is sloooow... why not a torrent? -- HG.

That's why my announcement is not out yet - we're currently setting the torrents up, should be done in an hour, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126

Not available via YOU. But you can do a "upgrade". Ciao, Marcus
