Hi, I was trying to install QT 4.2 RC on my SUSE 10.1 from the SUSE rpms provided in http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/KDE:/KDE4/SUSE_Linux_10.1 . However I get failed dependecies because of DBUS. I tryed updating dbus using the packages in http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/DBUS/SUSE_Linux_10.1 , but then there are lots of packages that need the older dbus. Is it possible to install QT 4.2 from openSUSE RPMs on SUSE Linux 10.1, without updating KDE? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Maybe the question is too simple, but I ask it anyway ;-) There are dbus-1 packages in the KDE:/KDE4/ repository - what happens if you (try to) install them? I installed them and everything seems to be working fine. I had to remove the dbus-1-x11 I had installed, in order to prevent any dependency problems.
