That's not the last update. I have 2.6.16.21-0.21-default for SuSE 10.1; just installed and booted fine an hour ago.
Thanks Carlos, I just checked again and found that it was 2.6.16.21-0.21 that I installed. I got my numbers confused while switching back and forth between computers, and checking old mail. Guess that sort of makes the subject line confusing; Sorry,
That's ok. Well, it's a bit clearer now. I would say that what happened to you was a "glitch" from Yast, but using the word could be a bit risky right now :-P Hope you solve it.
