I've dropped it a few days ago, but no response.... Could anyone PLEASE help me with the auto install of 7.3??? I've created a bootfloppy as mentioned in the documents regarding auto-install, and everything goes ok. But when the install reaches the partitioning part the system fails. It only shows the present partitions, but that's it. No automatic partitioning.... Does anyone has a clue??? One idea is that you've either placed the file in the wrong directory, or formatted it wrongly. Check tty4 if you're at the console (ctrl-alt-F4). That's where yast logs error messages during install. There may also be relevant messages on ctrl-alt-F10 regards Anders

If you haven't fixed the problem yet, you might as well try this; if it doesn't work, at least won't harm. Right at the beginning of the install process, you get a screen with a list of choices and a small countdown on the left (if you want to be prickly precise, it's a countup ;-) ). The top choice is highlighted and will be used if you don't act in 10 seconds.
