Has anyone been able to set up sslwrap successfully? I've followed the instructions in /usr/share/doc/packages/sslwrap/README.SuSE to the letter.. Set up pop3s and ftps... Neither works... I used kmail (from KDE2) to test pop3s... Kind regards Guy

How did you manage to get KMail to use SSL? I couldn't find the option in the one in KDE 2.1. If it can work, I'll be a happy boy. If not, I think I'm going to have to use a separate program in cron to download to a local mailbox. Also, try using Mutt to test it. It has support for it, IIRC. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.4 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE6w4+r+FOexA3koIgRAsAHAJ9vBNH0EweQtSTuCcloVBE8RVuvZACZAYrP r10s6Qk4BPkJtoV5+o6woBw= =ePp2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
Sorry for the late reply, I've been Ill fir a while, haven't checked my messages until today. It's in there, go to the preferences - network - accounts... now you should see a checkbox 'use SSL' or something... check it, the portnumber on the server should change to something over 900... Good luck, mail me at guy.vansanden@siemens.atea.be if you have any problems! Guy
