Anthony, You don't say whether you are trying to access the share while your Linux box is on the LAN, or remotely from home. I authored a simple How-To on remote networking with Windows VPN servers for James Cameron's PPTP Client website on SourceForge. (http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/howto-suse-82.phtml. A draft of a revised How-To (James hasn't approved it yet) is on my company's website at http://bero.rnome.com/SuSE-Windows_Networking_How-To.htm. I hope this is helpful. There is some info in the doc that will be applicable even if your Linux machine is connected directly to the LAN. If anyone has any editorial comments, please reply to me directly, off-list. I am particularly interested in incorporating the remote network's internal DNS, so that users need not know the private IPs of the remote systems on which they wish to access documents.
