There is several cdplayers included with SuSE Linux. Which is the one in question?
HI.. It is the one with compact disc digital audio on the top l/h side It appears at the top of the multimedia cd list from the control panel...
Some KDE people have to step in here, I don't use KDE, so I cannot tell which one it is. Hi.. I have just tried gtcd and it tells me there is no cdrom device.....The cdrom is there and was ok a few days ago......I have made no alterations to the files.......I just did a system upgrade and it has made no difference ...
Why do you BTW keep removing the list from Cc:? Is your CD-Rom drive an IDE drive? If it's sitting on e.g. secondary master, it is the device /dev/hdc. Try adding the symlink from that one (or whatever your device is) to /dev/cdrom: % ln -s /dev/hdc /dev/cdrom -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogic, with just a little bit more effort." -- A.
