I don't think so, that is part of what the print filter does. printout using a very
small font as opposed to the expected portrait printout using the default font of the printer. Should this be? Or do I have something set improperly, or not set?
Check out /etc/apsfilterrc. There is a section in that file where you can modify this.
By the way, these really are fine-tuning questions...For the most part in other software my printer works fine. I can print color pages using xv (and gimp). Using Ghostview I can print PDF and PS files. I am just looking for answers on the things that should work properly but don't (like a simple text file).
