[opensuse] Where to further adjust keyboard repeat rate in kde4, keyboard settings insufficient range
Listmates, Where is the keyboard repeat rate variable stored for kde4? The system settings -> comp administration -> kbd & mouse -> keyboard settings only adjusts to a maximum of 25 which is completely at the bottom of the repeat rate scale. I need to find the actual variable so I can double, if not tripple, the rate. In Gnome you have full control over the keyboard repeat. Mearly setting the rate at 1/2 is enough to have your cursor set on fire racing across the screen. In kde4, even at its max setting, the cursor barely crawls cross the screen. Where is the actual rate setting kept? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. David, Here (KDE4.3.3, "release 2") the maximum rate via the gui is 50. I'm not sure what the actual maximum is. The file with these settings is ~/.kde4/share/config/kcminputrc -- Don -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
