lol, next time you buy (sic!) something which doesn't work properly (lets say you can use 3 of 5 gears in a car only), keep in mind, moaning is useless, it'll be fixed...somehow...somewhen. beati pauperes spiritu eh?! Don't get me wrong, I like 10.1, the more I use it, the more I like it, but it certainly cannot be called final release. It's possibly a beta version, but nothing more. houghi:

People are working hard to solve it. Moaning now is useless. The people at SUSE know that there are issues. They are working on a solution and will see that it won't happen again.

1) Please do not toppost. 2) I did not pay anything for it 3) I was aware that this was going to happen 4) I happily run 10.0 wich is still very accurate and up to date. 5) The moments I run SUSE 10.1 it does pretty much what I want it to do.

AMEN! Just Like buying a Mercedes with no brakes. "We'll have a recall soon! You're not gonna make it to the service station alive but rest assured: we're working on it!" It's just a written proof of the lack of seriousness covering these releases. "Let's put it out there and we'll see! And if anyone complains... screw them... bloody moaners!" I wonder if the "people at Suse" will at least have the decency of posting an apology on the website. This is not even and Alpha version! Blank window in Yast? Work in progress eh? But hey!: "PEOPLE at Suse are working on it!" ...We're gonna have 2 blank windows in Yast on the next update! :) Great job! MetricUS PS: houghi: And if we are moaners how would you describe them? Please shut up and go away if you do not like it and don't want to contribute anything constructive. Ciao, Marcus
I sincerely hope you don't not know the meaning of "shut up"! And FYI I do contribute constructively. I did report the but from the YAST software management since b3 but 10.1 was still released with a bug that makes it unusable. I also reported other bugs like that the Fax setup is not working but the view at suse is that it's not supposed to work hence it's not a bug. And just so you know constructive contributions are made before the final release. After that all we have left is to complain. Ciao! On Tuesday 30 May 2006 15:09, Marcus Meissner wrote:
