Hi all, in the last few days my SUSE 10.0 purchased Box version is acting up when I want to shut down. The shut down does not react when I select the menu "Log out" to get to "Shut Down". "Lock session" works. I also noticed that when I click on the top bar of any of the windows, I cannot shift the window, minimise, maximais or close on the X. The 'mouse over' reaction works (button changes colour) when I pass over the buttons, but no reaction when I click on them. Any ideas what is going on?? :-) Al

It is quite a long file. I have never looked into it before. Maybe you can make some sense of all the 'errors'. Evolution seems quite shakey ?!? In the mean time I tried to reinstall the mouse type (changing mouse type and restarting X and changing back again - old window$ tricks). After a restart of the graphical system with the correct mouse type again, it seemed to clear the error. Is there a way to do some back-tracking about the errors like in the xsession-errors file to perhaps find the cause the problem? I'd like to know for next time, not poking in the dark as with M$. Hi all,
in the last few days my SUSE 10.0 purchased Box version is acting up when I want to shut down. The shut down does not react when I select the menu "Log out" to get to "Shut Down". "Lock session" works. I also noticed that when I click on the top bar of any of the windows, I cannot shift the window, minimise, maximais or close on the X. The 'mouse over' reaction works (button changes colour) when I pass over the buttons, but no reaction when I click on them.
Any ideas what is going on??
