[opensuse] Very Annoying Un-commanded Scrolling of Window Contents in KDE3 from Last 2 Updates
Listmates, I have been experiencing a very annoying new bug in the kde3 desktop and I have finally filed a bug on it. My description of the problem was: <quote> Current install: 3.5.10 "release 33.3" Two releases ago, 33.1 I think, a bug was introduced into the desktop that causes the content of open windows to scroll up 3-4 lines when you move the mouse over the windows or change window focus. This NEVER happened prior to the past two releases. I thought it was just my install until I started seeing other instances of this horribly annoying behavior on the opensuse list. This doesn't happen every time, but it does happen quite frequently. It also isn't limited to strictly kde apps, but is also experienced in firefox, etc. Beyond that, I don't know how to describe it. </quote> The bug is: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=473175 If you are seeing the same thing, or also seeing it in kde4, I encourage you to add your comments there so hopefully this annoying bug will get fixed. Thanks. -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. Hi . Yes i had that as well along with a mouse pointer that sort of vibrates up and down by about 2 to3 mm if i place it in certain areas of some apps typically Seamonkey of Firefox and the on Ham program i use FLdigi so what the common link is i am not sure the first 2 yes but FLdigi ? pass. I never bothered with it because it did not really cause me a problem just a bit annoying Cheers Pete . -- SuSE Linux 10.3-Alpha3.
