[opensuse] Where to find list of repositories for opensuse11
For a few weeks I have opensuse11-alpha installed, and I can't succeed to make a fresh update because no updates are installed yet. Could anyone please tell me what to fill in as update-repository? You can used factory repositories for your reference, ie : http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/ There is SL-OSS-factory and SL-Factory-non-oss. -- Best Regards, Masim "Vavai" Sugianto /************************************************************/ Blog (ID) : http://www.vavai.com/blog/index.php Blog (EN) : http://www.vavai.net Community : http://www.opensuse.or.id /************************************************************/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

You should ask about factory in the factory email list. However, factory doesn't usually have an "update repo". We simply run "zypper dup" on a root console and that's all. It is not equivalent to "yast / update", but probably to "yast / factory update". Be warned that the rpm format has changed recently, so you should first update rpm, and only rpm; after that you can update the rest. Like: zyper in rpm zypper in zypper zyper dup - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
