I know that Teams for Linux is EOL and is now a web app. (Sigh.) But after a recent Tumbleweed upgrade, Teams is no linger working. I have tried the suggestions here: https://en.opensuse.org/Microsoft_Teams, which worked in the past. But no success. Anyone running Teams on an up-to-date Tumbleweed? -- Roger Oberholtzer

EOL? I have official package from repo https://packages.microsoft.com/ yumrepos/ms-teams and on TW it works as expected. -- Vojtěch Zeisek https://trapa.cz/ Komunita openSUSE GNU/Linuxu Community of the openSUSE GNU/Linux https://www.opensuse.org/

Me too. That is what I have installed. But MS announced a couple months ago that they are dropping support for the native Linux Teams, and will instead only support a web/PWA Teams: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-blog/microsoft-teams-... When I run the native app from the repo you listed (and I have been using), it only provides a blank white window. If I try the options in the SUSE link (in the start of this thread), it takes a long time to eventually say: We're sorry—we've run into an issue. Try again If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in. Nothing I do gets me past this point, It had been working until a Tumbleweed update this past week. I have been using this: teams-insiders-1.3.00.25560-1.x86_64 -- Roger Oberholtzer

yes. i have both the standalone client (more or less another chromium app like many others like signal or slack) and the new PWA (Progressive Web Application). and both work. maybe you have to uninstall the PWA and re-install it again. but AFAIK the PWA only depends on chrome. -- Best Regards | Freundliche Grüße | Cordialement | Cordiali Saluti | Atenciosamente | Saludos Cordiales *DI Rainer Klier* DevOps, Research & Development
