[S.u.S.E. Linux] Setting modem speed
Some weeks ago a message was posted somewhere telling how to circumvent the 38400 bps modem speed by an entry in one of the configuration files. When I upgraded from 5.1 to 5.2 I lost the setting, and now I can't remember what I did. Can anyone help me out? Thanks. Bill, Look in /etc/rc.d/serial then find the entry that corresponds to your serial port tack "spd_vhi" on the end. like mine below. ${SETSERIAL} /dev/cua1 uart 16550A port 0x2F8 irq 3 spd_vhi.
