Greetings, (I would have replied privately to doc, but lost his email address) I just performed a fresh install and had the same problem for a few minutes, but after a couple attempts (no reconfig) yast online update worked fine. I connected to server 'ftp.gwdg.de' and was able to get all the yast updates... I'm on my way back for more. Good luck Doc / Best regards, Ron Boyer
Rebooted and tried again about half an hour ago, got about 31 updates. (Using autoupdate.) Seems the servers must just be busy -- wonder why the message doesn't say that rather than the more M$-like useless generic info? BTW: Why would you need to go back for more? Thanks! doc On Saturday 28 September 2002 11:53, Ron Boyer wrote:
