Linphone on Leap 15.1 with a USB mic works for me without issue. The party on the other end can hear me just fine. In Linphone, did you try clicking on the hamburger menu in the upper right corner, going to the Audio tab, then setting the capture device to that of your microphone? I have it set in Linphone to go through PulseAudio and that is not causing a problem. Thank you, this is important input in order to sort this out.
