It wasn't obvious t first, but after the upgrade from 10.3 > 11.1 it was still using the old kmail from kde3 I noticed the kde4 version when I tried to send mail from a mail-to link and a strange mail box popped up. Now with the old kmail when I click on a link in a message it hangs. the new kmail did not migrate any of my settings (filters, accounts, ?) but did keep the folder structure There was a bug filled for this earlier but it is not clear ~> kde4-config --localprefix /home/kenziem/.kde4/ ~> kde-config --localprefix /home/kenziem/.kde/ one suggested that there was a SuSE migration tool, but it was not documented and it didn't say if it worked or not. Another suggestion was to move/remove the contents of .kde/share/apps/kmail to .kde4 Does any one have a resolution? Are there any more gottchas to watch for? -- Collector of vintage computers http://www.ncf.ca/~ba600 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

I did something similar to the scripts in https://features.opensuse.org/306658 HTH Jan -- You know you're in trouble when you can't stand folks who are intolerant. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
