Hi Steven, Rather than looking at the logs, I look at the patches descriptions. In Konq (or what ever) I can sort them by date. If I have any doubts a patch is installed I use pin or look if the rpm was also downloaded. In on my 8.2 box, YOU stores the List of patches in: file:/var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/8.2/patches IIRC, the rpms are stored in file:/var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/8.2/ "roms" ??? but, I don't know for sure as I use fou4s, where they are stored in "/var/cache/fou4s/...."
