Hi There,
I just installed rh 6.1 for trial and i liked the GNOME thing, can we have GNOME run with the great kde from suse 6.2 ?
Um, why? KDE is an environment. GNOME is an environment. Running two environments loads an excessive number of libraries and could potentially slow down your system.
Should i Just run GNOME alone or it plus KDE ? will running both waste of resources ?
I've got a buddy (I'm BCC:ing him now) that swears this is the way to go. I'm sure he'd like to give you some pointers on running them concurrently.
I really like the Gnome feature like auto-cd insert, etc
What do you mean `auto-cd insert'? My GNOME system does not auto-mount the disk when I insert. OTOH, if I double-click on the CD icon, it will mount the disc for me, just as KDE already does.
