It's not really a problem, more of a "funny" concerning spell checking in Abiword2.0.3 and the new 2.0.4. (I've now only got 2.0.4 installed). Abiword needs Enchant, which needs the Hebrew spell checker hspell. With hspell installed I can't get spell checking to work (in English_GB, I don't know any Hebrew). If I uninstall hspell using Yast, and tell it to ignore the consequences of enchant possibly not working, spell checking works correctly. Synaptic tells me that Enchant is now broken, but I ignore that message. Has anyone else come across this? Is there an alternative solution? Cheers and thanks for any comments. Keith

Thanks for your help, James. I have solved it by having HSpell installed and deleting /usr/lib/enchant/libenchant_hspell Spell checking works and Enchant is no longer "broken" Cheers Keith
