Hello, I've been running into some errors with Sendmail on Suse 9.3. After installing and configuring MailScanner, which starts in own instances of sendmail, I was getting the following error; Aug 1 13:57:47 sendmail-out[26165]: unable to write pid to /var/run/sendmail.pid: file in use by another process No other application, outside of MailScanner starting sendmail, was running. On a Mandrake 9.1 box, that I have that is also running MailScanner, the sendmail processes a split between an in and out session. For example, # ls /var/run/sendmail sendmail.in.pid sendmail.out.pid However, in Suse 9.3 there is only one pid file; # ls /var/run/sendmail sendmail.pid Is anyone familiar with MailScanner running on Suse?
