Suspend to Disk and usb mouse
Hi, I have Toshiba A75 and SuSE 9.3 installed. I use default kernel (instead of smp) that works properly with acpi and powersave daemon. "Suspend to Disk" works quite ok. However the only problem I face is that my USB mouse does not work (message: "lost synchronization"). I have tried with reloading some kernel modules with no success. Any ideas? How to reinitialize USB? Thanks in advance. -- Marek Chlopek

Hi, Marek, Have a look at the thread "pointing stick on dell latitude d600" from a week ago. It may solve your problem. I posted my solution yesterday and it is essentially the addition of a USB mouse with SaX2 and restart of X11. Carlos FL --

Hi Carlos, I guess it would be too easy ;-) I already have both touchpad and usb mouse installed via sax2: ( 0 ) Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse /dev/input/mice ( 1 ) ALPS Touchpad /dev/input/mice I usually switch the touchpad off by function keys anyway. Regards, -- Marek Chlopek
