[opensuse] Is the kernel production in a rut?
I may have asked this question in the wrong list (opensuse-kernel) so following no responses I am asking this here: I use the ..../stable/...... kernel repository to get, and keep, the latest stable kernel on my 13.1 Desktop system (ie, I don't use the 'release' kernel'). Over the past ~week there were 2 updates for- kernel-devel which brought this file to version 3.14.5-2.1. Nice. But where are the associated files- kernel-desktop and kernel-desktop-devel ? In the past I have seen an update for kernel-devel and without updates to the other 2 files. However, the next day (for me) the other 2 files were available for installation. But not this time - as I said, it's been around a week without any sign of the updates for kernel-desktop and kernel-desktop-devel. What's the problem? :-) The build service has been having a slight hassle, but kernel 3.14.6 should be available tomorrow (or "real soon now" depending on which part of the world you are in :-) ).
