What are the Firefox defaults fonts? I'm using FF11.0, and all I see under Edit->Preferences->Fonts&Colours->Advanced: proportional = serif Serif = serif sans-serif = san-serif monospace = monospace I did a website mockup for a customer just recently, and now they'd like to know which font I used .... Whatever fontconfig returns as the default for "serif". With my limited knowledge about fontconfig I think you will know when you run # fc-match serif on the target system. Thank you, Wolfgang - your limited knowledge was just right :-) # fc-match serif DejaVuSerif.ttf: "DejaVu Serif" "Book" -- Per Jessen, Zürich (13.5°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Don't think you can count on a fontconfig prediction to reliably be correct: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64414 http://www.gtalbot.org/BrowserBugsSection/MozillaBugs/font-face-matching-lin... :-( -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
