Hi all, I want to print text to dot-matrix printer, as far as I know, " lpr " can do it. For example echo "I want to print 1 line only" | lpr. It will print that text to printer with form feed. echo "foo" |lpr -Praw works for me. To print a form feed, use echo ^L |lpr -Praw (press Ctrl-V, Ctrl-L for the ^L). not works for me!
works for me. To print a form feed, use
echo ^L |lpr -Praw
Print 2 pages.
(press Ctrl-V, Ctrl-L for the ^L).
