That is acording to the error message. It appears that they check for a game port before setting up a USB joystick. X find this one just mine but yast2 fails.
Why do you want yast2 to recognize the joystick when X has discovered it? And what exactly is the error message you get?
Also on my 88 year old father's x86-64 with a lp0 port - which is setup by yast2>hardware>printer will not agree with hwinfo --printer. hwinfo find the printer as lp1 and everything else finds it as lp0
One problem, one mail. Otherwise it gets impossible to handle the questions. And in the other mail about the lp0 port please describe why the disagreement constitutes a problem for you.
