The orinoco_cs module is at the top of module chain. I don't know if insmod will autoload the required modules, but modprobe should. Did you try modprobe as I suggested in a previous post? In case you prefer to load each one, I think this is the correct load order: pcmcia-core i82365 (if this applies to your laptop) ds orinoco hermes orinoco_cs No doubt 7.3 was easier for wireless, but 8.0 has some nice goodies that make me want to stick with it: 2.4.18 kernel, alsa 0.9, updated YaST2, etc. Really, wireless was the only open wound I suffered.
