re: [SLE] ISO Images Again - Where are the AXP Images ?
It you can't find an answer here, you might want to try the Tru64 managers list. tru64-unix-managers@ornl.gov It is officially for Tru64 support, but a lot of generic Alpha questions come up, and a few Linux ones as well. I don't think you have to subscribe to be able to post to that list. == Rules of that list You send a question. Responses come directly to you. (Never to the list). You post a summary message for the archives. === FYI: I checked the archive for that list, and your question has not been asked. Hello, everyone.
I saw an earlier thread for ISO images and it reminded me that I still can't find the images for the AXP version of SuSE. ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/README.iso-images.english states quite clearly that SuSE provides AXP ISO images, and though I can find the Sparc and S390 ones with no problems, the AXP ISOs continue to elude me. Does anyone know where these images are ? I did ask on the suse_axp list a while back, and nobody there seemed to know.
It's not that we can't afford the $50 for the boxed set, but the target machine is very old, and we want to see if we can get it working first. If we can, then I'm sure we'll get the box set if only for the manuals. My current knowledge of the Alpha architecture is thin at best, but I'd like to change that.
Thanks, Stuart.
